The content of the study is an understanding of basic techniques in mathematics, statistics, informatics and finance, which are further used in related subjects aimed at gaining more profound knowledge in financial informatics, computational statistics, financial and actuarial mathematics, business analysis models, information theory, mathematical economics and basics of random processes.

You will learn to use the tools of intermediate mathematics and statistics, apply and use mathematical principles and procedures in economic applications and in the area of financial models. You will learn to work with commercial and open software tools for statistical data processing and simulations, evaluate economic data, and also identify potential problems.

Upon successful completion of the study programme, the graduate is primarily prepared to study the follow-up master's degree programme Mathematics and Financial Studies.
