In the field of mathematics, we focus on both basic research and applied research. Most research activities are carried out in cooperation with our partner department, VP5 Qualitative and Quantitative Investigation of Mathematical Models, which is part of NTIS - European Centre of Excellence - New Technologies for the Information Society.
